XOP Black Bowmore 30 Year Old 1989

A single cask Islay whisky from Bowmore Distillery, bottled under the prestigious XOP (Extra Old Particular) “Black” series by independent bottler Douglas Laing. It was distilled in 1989 and matured for 30 years before being bottled in 2019.

As part of the Black XOP range, this release represents the higher-end selection of aged, naturally coloured single casks. With only 276 bottles drawn from the cask, it is a highly limited expression that showcases Bowmore at full maturity, combining long-aged Islay character with refined oak influence.
