About the distillery

Tullibardine Distillery is located in the village of Blackford, in the southern Highlands of Scotland. It was founded in 1949, although the site itself has a brewing history dating back to the 15th century, when King James IV is said to have stopped there to purchase beer before his coronation in 1488.

Tullibardine produces Highland single malt whisky, known for its smooth, malty, and creamy profile, often enhanced through a variety of cask finishes. The core range frequently features whiskies finished in sherry, port, Sauternes, or burgundy wine casks, which add depth and complexity to the base spirit.

Other Information

This lot offers the fantastic opportunity to own one cask of Tullibardine single malt scotch whisky, distilled in 2017.

The cask was regauged in January 2025, summarizing the following:

- New bulk 196 liters | New strength 69.1% ABV | 135 liters of alcohol

This would currently yield approximately 277 x 70cl bottles of whisky.

IMPORTANT:

- Annual cask storage fee as well as any cask transfer admin fees will become payable by the buyer.

- Legal ownership of the cask will be transferred to the buyer once payment has been received by Whisky Gallery. Funds will be held by Whisky Gallery until the buyer is in legal receipt of the cask ownership to protect the buyer's transaction.

- Ownership of this cask is auctioned in bond. The buyer will be responsible for any costs relating to removing the cask from bond in the future (i.e UK excise duty / VAT) as well as any other costs associated with cask movement and bottling.
