The Macallan Romantica Collection celebrates the 100th Anniversary of The Macallan 1926, one of the most iconic and valuable whiskies ever sold at auction. In 1986, the legendary 1926 reached its peak after Six Decades of maturation in Sherry-seasoned Oak, while in the same year, Single Sherry-seasoned European Oak Cask No #9925 was laid down at The Macallan Estate, beginning a 40 Year journey that would be unveiled in 2026.

To mark this centenary, The Macallan reunites Sir Peter Blake, Valerio Adami, and Michael Dillon, who reinterpret the journey of Cask No #9925 (1986–2026) through art, memory, and nature. Each artist presents a different perspective — community, time, and landscape — reflecting The Macallan’s enduring legacy.

Drawn from Cask No #9925, bottled at 48.6% ABV and natural colour, the whisky offers apricot, peach, toffee, spice, red fruits, and a long finish of dried fruit, leather, and cacao.

Limited to only 258 bottles worldwide, this is a centenary tribute connecting 1926, 1986, and 2026 in a single thread of time.
