The Gauldrons Sherry Edition 2023

Volume: 700ml / ABV: 50%

Following the first release in 2022, this is the second batch of The Gauldrons Sherry Cask bottled by the independent bottler Douglas Laing in their Remarkable Regional Malt series. Limited to around 5580 bottles, this blended malt combines single malt whiskies exclusively distilled in Campbeltown, Scotland – known for their robust aromas of smoke and brine – and finished in Spanish ex-sherry casks.

Tasting Note

Nose

Spiced, baked apples, with dark caramel, and some cinder toffee.

Palate

Raisins and dried currants, with wafts of smoke, and warming spices.

Finish

Lingering smoke, with some creamy caramel.
