For this release, Master Blender Maureen Robinson showcases her exceptional cask selection skills through the creation of a complex and unique triple cask maturation process. The whisky is first aged in a combination of European oak Sherry casks and American oak Bourbon casks, which are expertly married by Robinson after 12 years. The Bourbon casks brings rich vanilla, caramel, and woody notes, while the Sherry casks introduce fruity and subtly bitter flavors.
