Tasting Note

Nose

The aroma is highlighted by light, gentle wood smoke with earthy notes, sweet caramel, grilled mangoes, and stewed apples. Additional notes include nectarines, peaches, farmy notes, and a touch of fennel.

Palate

The whisky has a great oily mouthfeel with a peppery arrival. Flavors include creamy vanilla, earthy smoke, sandalwood, and tobacco. Adding water brings out hints of gingerbread, smoked malt, and sweet dulce de leche, along with whispers of orange peel and lychees, though it is not as fruity as the nose.

Finish

The finish is long, continuing the flavors experienced on the palate.

Body

Medium body, neither too light nor too heavy, with an elegant aroma and taste.

Complexity

The whisky is noted for its complexity, with a balance of sweet, smoky, and earthy flavors.
