Presenting the Scallywag Year of the Ox Edition, a special release celebrating 2021's Lunar New Year of the Ox. This unique creation from Douglas Laing & Co. blends a handful of selected Single Cask Single Malts from Scotland’s Speyside region. Fully matured in 100% Sherry casks, including Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez butts, the whisky showcases a deep, natural amber hue— a result of the Sherry aging process. In keeping with Douglas Laing's tradition, this whisky is non-chill filtered.

Only 1,688 bottles have been produced exclusively for selected Asian markets that include Singapore, Malaysia, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Tasting Note

Nose

Anticipate an indulgent character, showing juicy plums, warming spices and dark chocolate.

Palate

Savour rich, fruity blackcurrants, charred oak and a sweet nuttiness.

Finish

Satisfyingly long, replicating all that went before.
