Provenance Ledaig 9 Year Old 2010

From the Tobermory Distillery comes this smoky Ledaig single malt. The peated whisky was distilled in 2010 and left in a single refill hogshead for 9 years, until Douglas Laing bottled it for the Provenance series, with an outturn of 411 bottles.

Tasting Note

Nose

Smoky, maritime with lashings of cured meats.

Palate

Berry sweetness, bacon rashers and peat smoke.

Finish

Salted caramel, dark chocolate and a touch of ginger.
