Provenance Glen Moray 12 Year Old 2007

From Speyside's Glen Moray distillery comes a 12 year old single cask single malt, independently bottled by the fine folks over at Douglas Laing. This was distilled in 2007 and left to mature for a dozen years in a refill hogshead, before being bottled in 2019 as part of the Provenance range. A release of 360 bottles.

Tasting Note

Nose

Cedar wood and tobacco early, with later vanilla and barley.

Palate

Potent Malt, more vanilla (custard style) and late citrus.

Finish

Gristy, with a hint of oak, then late chest warming spice.
