This single malt from Benrinnes was distilled in 2014 and matured for eight years in a re-charred sherry butt. The Speyside Scotch whisky was bottled in 2022 for Douglas Laing's Old Particular - The Midnight Series, at cask strength, and without added color or chill filtration.

Tasting Note

Nose

Plenty of rich sherry character, with raisins, warm spices, and caramel.

Palate

Sticky dates, fruit cake, treacle tart, and candied orange.

Finish

Dark brown sugar, with caramelized almonds.
