This single malt was distilled at Fettercairn in November 2004 and matured for the next 18 years in a second full sherry butt. The cask was opened by Douglas Laing in August 2023, independently bottling a total of 290 bottles for the Old Particular collection.
Tasting Note
There are aromas of guava, toasted almonds and cinnamon on the nose, leading to crunchy red berries, vanilla and a dusting of cacao powder on the palate.
