A triple distilled single malt from the Highland distillery Caol Ila, there's only 754 bottles produced of this ten year old Single Malt. Laid down in 2011 in a single refill butt, expect a coastal character synonymous with the Islay region. 

Tasting Note

Nose

Uncork the bottle and catch its beachy, oceanic and peated, gristy qualities.

Palate

Oily, phenolic, lightly salted, distinctly spiced with summer tar, Malt and iodine.

Finish

Shows dry spices ahead of coal dust and soot, plus drift of wood fire smoke.
