A 2002 Bowmore single malt from indie bottler Douglas Laing, matured in a single refill sherry butt for 18 years, before being bottled in December 2020 as part of its Old Particular series. One of only 284 bottles. 

Tasting Note

Nose

Stewing fruits with a spiced wood quality give way to a gently smokiness.

Palate

Sticky plum jam with juicy barley developing to peat smoke with a cinnamon warmth.

Finish

Lingers wonderfully with a marmalade tang plus charred oak and creamy toffee.
