Tasting Note

Kweichow Moutai Year of the Mouse presents a fresh and lively aroma upon opening, reminiscent of spring grass after the morning dew. The initial sweetness gently wraps the senses, followed by subtle notes of grain and roasted nuts that reveal Moutai’s layered complexity. Around the third second, the fragrance becomes deeper and more harmonious — traces of soy and aged cellar emerge, giving a sense of maturity and balance. By the sixth second, the classic “Qu Xiang” aroma reaches its elegant peak, leaving a long, mellow finish that lingers gracefully on the palate.
