• Base Spirit: Rice spirit
• Botanicals: Includes yellow yuzu, hinoki wood chips (Japanese cypress), bamboo, gyokuro tea, green sanshō (Japanese peppercorn) berries, juniper, orris root, lemon, shiso, ginger, and sansho peppers.
• Distillation Process: The botanicals are separated into six categories (Base, Citrus, Tea, Herbal, Spice, and Fruity & Floral) and distilled individually before being blended with pure ground water from the Fushimi district, known for its sake production.

Tasting Note

Nose

Strong citrus notes, particularly yuzu and lemon, with hints of green tea and pine-forward juniper.

Palate

Initial citrus flavours of yuzu and orange oil, followed by juniper, herbal, and earthy notes. The mid-palate introduces a cooling, camphoraceous impression with ginger, peppercorn, and black tea.

Finish

Long and exceptionally dry, with a delicate interplay of yuzu and red shiso leaves, and a lingering bitterness reminiscent of wormwood.
