“Jiaocang 1988” marks the flagship premium line of Xijiu, crafted in the heart of the Guizhou sauce‐aroma baijiu region near Chishui. It combines exceptional base liquor with vintage aged reserves from the pre-1988 era, all blended to deliver a deeply layered and refined drinking experience.

Tasting Note

Nose
Rich and complex: the aroma opens with deep roast grains, steamed bean and subtle soy-sauce aroma notes, overarched by a faint sea breeze and mild citrus peel.

Palate
The entry is smooth but firm; mid-palate brings toasted sorghum, caramelised nuts and soft bean-paste sweetness, followed by a clean drive of spice and lingering grain character.

Finish
Long and dignified: slow to fade, the finish unfolds gentle warmth, echoing the soy-sauce complexity and rich grain backbone, leaving a velvet hush rather than aggressive burn.
