A traditional and well-layered saké, this Junmai Daiginjo hails from the Niigata prefecture, birthplace of this saké’s namesake, the Koi. Nishikigoi Saké is the product of Imayo Tsukasa Saké Brewery and is a traditional saké that boasts spicy notes of cinnamon and nutmeg, buffered by earthy hints of Parisian mushroom and garlic, giving it a soft, buttery feel while still providing a kick at the end.

The beauty within is equally matched by the beauty without as the bottle that houses Nishikigoi Saké is artfully crafted by Yamaharu Glass Co. The distinctive red-on-white pattern that mimics the Kohaku variety of Koi has been the recipient of numerous design awards, making each unique bottle a collector’s item.
