Which itself is the first part of phase II of the ‘Whiskysponge expanded liquid universe’.

It is a Fins Bois Cognac Heritage 45 bottled at 50.5% in 2020 after many years maturation in cask. It was distilled during a painful yet optimistic era in the immediate aftermath of the Second World War and bottled in a painful yet pessimistic era of a few months ago during the rising spectres of nationalist populism, climate breakdown and the Covid 19 pandemic.
