By visiting Hennessy's facilities and exploring the production processes in Cognac, KAWS found rich inspiration to design a special edition of Hennessy VS bottles. This edition showcases his dynamic graphics and vibrant colors, featuring his signature double X motif.

For KAWS, this collaboration with Hennessy goes beyond a simple commercial partnership. He expresses being deeply influenced by the experience of learning about Hennessy's traditional techniques and history. Incorporating elements of Hennessy's heritage into his work, such as the Hennessy family coat of arms, KAWS created a bottle that reflects his contemporary aesthetic while honoring the brand's legacy.

The limited edition of 210,000 bottles of Hennessy VS by KAWS was unveiled at a private event at the New Museum in New York in July 2011. This unique collaboration exemplifies the fusion of modern art with Hennessy's centuries-old tradition, providing a distinctive interpretation of the brand by a renowned contemporary artist.
