The Dram Takers Collection (Volume 1) draws its timeless artistry from a fabled manuscript – The Book of Kells - penned in Latin in the ninth century. The distinctive illustrative style has inspired our design of two ‘dram takers’ raising a glass – an ancient gesture of unity and ritual. Each bottle in this collection is a celebration of heritage, craftsmanship, and the tradition of raising a special dram of single malt Scotch whisky to recognise truly meaningful moments. Born in the heart of Scotland, this series shines a light on spirit from distilleries with their own chapter in Scotland’s liquid history. Matured in Gordon & MacPhail’s own casks, and carefully nurtured for many years, each dram embodies our unique experience, handed down through four generations since 1895.

Glenlivet 1954 – 68 years old – Refill sherry butt / ABV: 43.7% - Bottled in 2023

Longmorn 1966 – 55 years old – First-fill sherry butt / ABV: 44.8% - Bottled in 2021

Linkwood 1967 – 54 years old – First-fill sherry hogshead / ABV: 44.8% - Bottled in 2021

Glenrothes 1969 – 52 years old – Refill sherry hogshead / ABV: 47.9% - Bottled in 2022

Mortlach 1969 – 50 years old – First-fill sherry butt / ABV: 50.7% - Bottled in 2019

Strathisla 1971 – 52 years old – Refill sherry hogshead / ABV: 49.1% - Bottled in 2023
