The whisky spent its first decade in a mix of first-fill sherry and refill casks before being transferred to Mizunara – A native oak from Japan, made famous by the nation’s single malts. This whisky is filled with rich spice, dried fruit and caramelised nuts, with incense-like oak and a touch of sandalwood.
