Glenfarclas The Family Casks Golgo 13 Hideo Yamoka

This is a single cask Speyside whisky from Glenfarclas Distillery, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2021. It was selected by Hideo Yamaoka for Whisky Mew and released under the “Golgo 13” themed label, inspired by the famous Japanese manga character.

The whisky matured in a 1st Fill Sherry Butt #2181, which gives it a strong and direct sherry influence with rich oak extraction. As a single cask bottling, only one cask was selected and bottled, making it a limited and character-driven release focused on intensity and personality rather than mass production.
