Dom Pérignon is the prestige cuvée of Champagne house Moët & Chandon, produced exclusively as a vintage Champagne. Named after Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon (1638–1715), who, as cellar master at the Hautvillers abbey, played a key role in advancing winemaking techniques.

The 2013 vintage saw a return to late harvest traditions. A cold, wet winter and cool, rainy spring delayed budding by two weeks. A hot, dry summer with record sunshine ensured excellent grape quality. Early September rains were followed by easterly winds that preserved grape health. Harvest began on September 28, yielding a vintage with a promising balance of acidity and richness.

Tasting Notes

The nose presents fresh greens, golden fruits, warm spices, and subtle saline notes. The palate is elegant and precise, with a silky texture that deepens at the core. A lingering salinity defines the finish, leaving a lasting impression.
