To honor the Mackenzie Clan ancestor's rescue of King Alexander III in 1263, Master Distiller Richard Paterson created The Dalmore King Alexander III. This exceptional whisky is crafted by selecting six casks of aged Dalmore malts, each matured in a distinct finish: French wine barriques, Madeira pipes, sherry butts, Sicilian Marsala casks, port pipes and bourbon barrels from Kentucky. These finishes are exquisitely married to craft a one-of-a-kind whisky with a rich and captivating flavor profile.

Red berry fruits and hints of passion fruit.

Palate

Citrus zest, vanilla pod, crème caramel, and crushed almonds.

Cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
