Cutty Sark Prohibition is created as a salute to the famous Captain William "Bill" McCoy, who smuggled Cutty Sark Blended Scotch Whisky into America during the Prohibition era in the 1920s. This blended whisky is a higher strength expression, sitting at 50% ABV (their classic expression is bottled at 40% ABV).
