Distilled in 1974 and bottled in 2014 after four decades of maturation, this remarkable release comes from the closed Caledonian Distillery, one of Scotland's historic grain whisky distilleries. Having ceased production in 1988, Caledonian bottlings have become increasingly rare, particularly those with such extended periods of maturation.

Drawn from Oak Cask #23630, this whisky spent 40 years slowly developing complexity and refinement. Long-aged grain whiskies from Caledonian are highly regarded for their ability to transform into elegant, silky spirits, where decades of interaction with oak create layers of sweetness, depth, and maturity while maintaining remarkable balance.
