A 25-year-old single malt released as part of Balvenie's Rare Marriages series. Having matured in European and American oak casks and married in a tun to create a fruity, this expression has had a quarter of a century to develop a rich, rewarding flavour profile.

Tasting Note

Nose

Soft autumn fruits, runny honey, crystallised ginger and raw sugar cane. An underlying rich oakiness creates complexity and structure.

Palate

The initial bold vanilla oak flavours slowly dissipate to reveal layers of toasted marshmallows, fresh fruit terrine and cinnamon infused apple tart.

Finish

Exceptionally long lasting sweetness.
