Tasting Note

Nose

The aroma is characterised by subtle peat smoke, which allows other scents to come through. Notable aromas include ripe bananas, lavender, bonfire wood smoke, earthy pine, and sweeter tropical notes like banana bread.

Palate

On the palate, Ardbeg Drum offers a creamy mouthfeel with a complex mix of flavours. It features spicy notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, and a hint of ginger, combined with dry smoke and ashes. There is also a sugary sweetness, alongside flavours of vanilla, lime, and dark chocolate.

Finish

The finish is long-lasting with lingering notes of salt, smoke, and vanilla.
