The Ardbeg Day 2012 Committee Release is a special edition whisky from the Ardbeg distillery, created to celebrate the launch of International Ardbeg Day on June 2, 2012. This release is part of the annual tradition of Ardbeg Day, which coincides with the Feis Ile festival on Islay. Limited to 12,000 bottles. 

Tasting Note

Nose

The aroma is described as very pleasant, with a combination of rich and complex scents typical of Ardbeg whiskies.

Palate

It offers an explosive palate, likely featuring the signature peaty and smoky flavors associated with Ardbeg, complemented by the sherry cask influence.

Finish

Bright, multifaceted, long enough. Extinct fire, molten plastic, pigskin, beeswax, viscous caramel, red grapes, orange jam, nuts. Then, sea salt and smoke remain in the mouth for a long time.
