This edition is exclusive to New Chitose Airport and is part of the distillery's ongoing efforts to blend traditional Scottish methods with the unique flavours of Akkeshi.

Tasting Note

Nose

The aroma features notes of honey, orange marmalade, and salted butter caramel.

Palate

On the palate, it presents flavours of citrus, brown sugar, and a discreet saline smoke.

Finish

The finish is characterised by spices, with notes of white pepper and a slight bitterness of orange peel.

This blend is a combination of malt whiskies distilled at Akkeshi and some imported grain whiskies, all aged in various types of casks, including bourbon, mizunara, and sherry casks. The result is a deep and complex profile that has been recognised for its quality and craftsmanship.
